ECHA Announces first REACH substance evaluation decisions: 14 substance decisions taken by ECHA based on evaluations carried out by Member States. A decision on substance evaluation means that there is a need for further information to conclude on the concern on a substance. From the substances listed in the CoRAP for 2012, there were 32 substances for which the evaluating Member States originally proposed a draft decision. After the Member States’ review and discussions and unanimous agreement in the Member State Committee , ECHA has taken final decisions on 14 substances.
